Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how FootNext ("FootNext," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

1. Who We Are

FootNext is a soccer training and community app. The Service is operated by the FootNext team. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at footnextsupport@gmail.com.

2. Information You Provide

When you complete onboarding, set up your profile, or interact with the Service, you may provide:

  • Profile information such as name, age range, position, playing level, and training goals.
  • Workout, drill, and training log entries you create or save.
  • Posts, comments, photos, and other content you share to community features.
  • Support requests, feedback, and other communications you send us.

3. Information Collected Automatically

We and our service providers automatically collect limited technical information so the app can function and improve:

  • Device information: model, operating system version, language, time zone, and a randomly generated device identifier.
  • App usage information: screens viewed, features used, crash reports, and performance diagnostics.
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address (we do not collect precise GPS location unless you explicitly enable a feature that requires it).

On iOS, we do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes, and we do not request permission under App Tracking Transparency.

4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

FootNext offers auto-renewing subscriptions. Payments, billing, and renewals are processed by Apple through the App Store; we never see or store your full payment details. To manage purchases, validate entitlements, and enable "Restore Purchases," we use RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous user identifier, your transaction receipts, your country, and basic device metadata. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and personalize your training plan and recommendations.
  • Operate core features such as logging workouts, saving favorites, and showing leaderboards.
  • Process and validate in-app purchases and subscriptions.
  • Diagnose crashes, prevent abuse, and improve performance and reliability.
  • Respond to support requests and send important Service notices.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not use your personal information to serve third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

6. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

  • Service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, analytics, crash reporting, subscription management). They are contractually limited to using the information to provide services to us.
  • App Store and platform providers (Apple) for purchase processing and app distribution.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of FootNext, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers: if FootNext is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred subject to this Policy.

7. Community Content

Any content you post to public areas of the app (such as community feeds, comments, or leaderboards) is visible to other users. Do not post information you do not want to be public. You can delete your own content at any time; copies may remain in backups for a limited period.

8. Data Storage, Security, and Retention

Profile, training, and preference data is stored on your device and, where you use cloud features, on secure servers operated by our hosting providers. We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (for example, transaction records).

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can:

  • Access, update, or delete profile information from within the app.
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions).
  • Request a copy of your personal information or its deletion by emailing footnextsupport@gmail.com.
  • Control device-level permissions (notifications, photos, etc.) in your device Settings.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at footnextsupport@gmail.com.

10. Children's Privacy

FootNext is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will promptly delete it. Users between 13 and the age of majority should use the Service only with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

11. International Users

FootNext is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We use appropriate safeguards for international transfers as required by applicable law.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, including Apple's Terms of Use (EULA). This Policy does not apply to those third parties. Review their privacy policies before providing information.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by other reasonable means and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
